LoL Boosting is a professional service where a high-ranked player either plays on your account to increase your LP, or queues alongside you to carry games together. At InsaneBoost, every booster is Master+ tier — they do this professionally, and your rank moves fast because of it.
The Two Types of LoL Boosting
There are two fundamentally different ways to get boosted. Understanding the difference helps you pick the right option for your situation:
- Solo Boost: A Challenger player logs into your account and plays your ranked games for you. You don't need to be online. Your LP climbs while you go about your day. This is the fastest option — a Challenger on your account wins 80–90% of games regardless of the elo.
- Duo Boost: A Challenger player creates a smurf account and queues with you on the same team. You play on your account, they play alongside you in a role designed to maximize your winning chances. Slower than solo boost, but you're involved in every game and you actually pick up better habits along the way.
How a Solo Boost Actually Works
You place an order, select your current rank and target rank, and choose your preferred champion pool or any special notes. A booster is assigned — typically within minutes during peak hours. They log in, play your games, and your rank climbs. You get real-time updates on progress.
The process is designed to be discreet. Your friends list sees you as offline. A VPN matches your approximate region so your login doesn't flag anything unusual. No scripts, no bots — just a real Challenger player making real decisions. Most boosts across one or two divisions complete in under 24 hours.
Account Safety: What Actually Protects You
The biggest concern players have is ban risk. Here's the realistic picture: Riot does not ban accounts for playing well. They ban accounts for using scripts, automation tools, or behaviors that trigger their anti-cheat systems. InsaneBoost boosters play manually at Challenger level, using your champion pool as requested.
What InsaneBoost specifically uses to reduce risk:
- VPN protection: Every booster connects through a VPN that matches your country or region. This prevents login location anomalies that could trigger security alerts.
- Offline mode: Your online status is hidden during the boost. Your friends won't see unusual activity on your account.
- Your champion pool: Boosters play the champions you select, not just their personal comfort picks. This keeps your account history consistent and natural-looking.
- Manual gameplay only: No scripts, no automation tools. Human hands, human decisions. The gameplay patterns are indistinguishable from a legitimately skilled player.
How Fast Does a Boost Go?
Speed depends on how many divisions you're climbing and your starting LP. A typical boost through one division (e.g., Silver III to Silver II) takes between 4 and 8 games — often completed the same day. A full tier boost (e.g., Silver to Gold) takes 15–25 games depending on LP gains per win.
Challenger boosters average 70–85% win rates even in low-elo lobbies because the skill gap is enormous. Every game they play, they're making decisions that are three to five tiers ahead of the average opponent in your lobbies. The gap makes climbing feel effortless from their side.
Solo Boost vs Duo Boost: Which Should You Choose?
Solo boost is faster and cheaper per division. Duo boost is more engaging, lower-risk from a detection standpoint (you're just playing ranked with a friend), and more educational. Here's the decision in simple terms:
- Want the rank as fast as possible without being involved? → Solo Boost
- Want to be in every game and pick up better habits? → Duo Boost
- Want somewhere in between? → Duo Boost with an active coaching element
Is LoL Boosting Worth It?
That depends entirely on what your time is worth. If you have 200 hours to grind through Silver but genuinely don't have 200 hours — boosting buys you the rank you want in exchange for money instead of time. That's the core value proposition.
It's also worth being clear about what boosting is not: it doesn't permanently improve your gameplay. Your mechanical skill and decision-making stay at the same level your account started at. If you want to both climb and improve as a player, duo boost or coaching is a better fit. If you purely want the rank, solo boost is the most efficient path to it.
Extra Options You Can Add to Your Order
When placing a boost order at InsaneBoost, you can customize the experience with add-ons that change how the boost runs. These are split between solo and duo orders:
Solo Boost Add-Ons
- Priority: Your order is started and completed before all non-priority orders — treated as the most urgent active order on the platform. The fastest path from checkout to your first game being played.
- Solo Only: Your booster plays every game completely alone — no queuing alongside other boosters. Every game is a pure solo carry. Some players prefer this for a cleaner, more natural-looking match history.
- Livestreaming: Your booster streams every game directly to you — every game, from start to finish, no skips. The stream runs on Discord (via the InsaneBoost server), Twitch, YouTube, or any platform you both agree on before starting.
- Appear Offline: Your in-game status is set to Offline for the entire duration of the boost. Your friends won't see who is playing on your account or notice any unusual activity while the order is active.
Duo Boost Add-Ons
- Priority: Same as solo — your order is treated as the most urgent active order and started before non-priority ones. If you want to jump in immediately, this is the option.
- Untrackable Duo: Your booster plays on their own accounts and swaps with you after every 2nd game, alternating for the full duration of the order. This makes the session completely untraceable from the outside — no consistent booster account appears alongside yours.
- Voice Chat: Your booster is in a voice call with you for every game played. Live callouts, real-time decisions explained as they happen, and direct communication throughout — the closest thing to a coaching session built into a duo boost.
- High MMR Duo: Your booster uses an account that is at least one full rank higher than your current rank. You end up in harder lobbies, but the LP gains per win are noticeably better as a result of the elevated matchmaking.
Choosing a Booster at InsaneBoost
InsaneBoost lets you browse booster profiles before assigning your order. Each booster displays their peak rank, win rate, completed orders, and champion pool. You can filter by region, playstyle, or booster tier. Every active booster on the platform has been verified through in-house rank testing before they're allowed to take real orders.
If your order doesn't start within a reasonable window, or you're unhappy with progress at any point, you can request a different booster or pause the order entirely. The platform is built around giving you control over the process, not locking you into an assignment.
